Getting Kat's cold? I hope not. Lifted weights for 25 minutes, finished with several sets of Burpees. Ugh. Can't do more than 10 Burpees in a row without breaking form in a spectacularly ugly manner.
Dee, I lift pretty light weights--nothing more than 50 (that's 25 on each barbell). And I lift at home in the garage (on the driveway when the neighbors are gone!). I'm not a great gym person because I love being outside.
Burpees are the best ever all-over body exercise and they sound so simple, and look so easy, and then you do them and you're like OH MY GOSH CAN I PLEASE STOP. You need absolutely no equipment, which makes them even more awesome.
How much do you lift Meg? And, what the heck are Burpees? Sounds like something I get when I eat too many cucumbers.
